Andrej Kiripolsky, a Copenhagen-based artist originally from Bystricany, Slovakia, explores themes of identity, heritage, and the impact of industrial and socio-political change on communities through his multidisciplinary practice. Utilizing installation, video and sculpture, Kiripolsky documents the complex relationships between personal histories, cultural contexts, and the environments that shape them. The influences of his origin is being carried through a strong apocalyptic character, that develops the existential context of the Slovakian industrial and working-class environment.
